  Use this if you are interested in volunteering or just wish to make a comment or suggestion. Note that we are seeking people to help with restoration efforts in the wake of Hurricane Irene. There are many opportunities for Boy/Girl Scout Projects or just anyone wishing to help out.

• Get Involved by Participating

  You or your organization can participate in any of our activities.

  • Join any of our trail work days throughout the year

  • Sign up for our "Adopt a Trail" or "Keep It Nice" programs

  • Volunteer to monitor wildlife activities at the New Jersey Conservation Foundation Frank Applegate Road Nature Trail

  • Come in our hiking or other group activities

• Become an Active Member

  We have a lot of committees (see More About the Pathfinders for a complete list) where you can volunteer and become an active member of Pathfinders. Use your skills and/or learn some new ones.

  • Mapping (using Global Positioning System or GPS)

  • Grants, Land Acquisition

  • Trail Management

  • Bicycling, Hiking, Fishing

  • Membership, Publicity, Event Planning

• Donate or Sell Your Land for Preservation

  If you are interested in preserving your property, you can make an outright gift or sell it. We can outline the tax savings and estate planning benefits for you. Check out the following sites or contact the Land Acquisition Committee for more information.
